EmploymentMentorship Program

Contrans Flatbed has created an innovative new mentor program that will give newly AZ licensed individuals the opportunity to work alongside an experienced driver who possesses an in-depth knowledge of the trucking industry before venturing out on the roads alone.

We have trained and certified driver coaches within our organization who are eager to help develop new drivers into masters of the road. Trainees for our new program will be trained in the many divisions of our group specializing in various commodities. This in-cab training period lasts a minimum of 6 weeks. Both highway and local opportunities are now available!

Potential trainee requirements are as follows:

• Good work history
• Clean drivers abstract
• Clear criminal search (FAST eligible)
• Be able to fulfill the physical demands of the job
• Perform an average road evaluation
• Positive attitude
• Solid understanding of the lifestyle of a driver
• Can drive weekends and nights as required
